A Junior Billing Clerk assists with various billing processes within the organization, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing and payment processing. This temporary role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in basic mathematical skills, spreadsheet, and billing software is essential.
Job Title: Junior Billing Clerk (Temporary)
Location: Newark, DE
Compensation: $20-$23/hr.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing invoices for goods or services rendered.
- Verify billing information and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain billing records and documentation.
- Generate billing reports and statements.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing issues.
- Assist with data entry and processing billing transactions.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate billing.
- Follow up on outstanding invoices and process payments.
- Coordinate billing and collection of company damage cases up to $15,000 and property damage cases up to $2,500.
- Provide high-level administrative support, including conducting research, preparing statistical reports, handling information requests, and performing administrative assistant functions.
- Enter data into the accounting software system and perform basic accounting functions.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews and meetings.
- Compose and prepare correspondence and reports.
- Perform timekeeper/payroll duties for the department.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls for negotiations and collections.
- Assist with other billing-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Proficiency in spreadsheet and billing software.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Business Central, PeopleSoft, Oracle Financials, SAP, and Hyperion.
Pay Details: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
