Accounts Receivable Specialist (Contract-to-Hire)
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire
Pay rate: up to $26 hr

Job Summary: The Accounts Receivable Specialist will manage the accounts receivable process, including invoicing, collections, credit assessment, and reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Invoicing: Generate and send accurate invoices promptly, ensuring compliance with policies.

  • Collections: Monitor outstanding receivables, follow up on overdue payments, and negotiate payment plans.

  • Credit Assessment: Evaluate customer creditworthiness and manage credit limits to minimize risk.

  • Account Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.

  • Payment Processing: Process incoming payments and maintain accurate transaction records.

  • Customer Service: Address client inquiries and billing issues while fostering positive relationships.

  • Reporting: Prepare accounts receivable reports, including aging reports and credit risk assessments.

  • Dispute Resolution: Investigate and resolve billing disputes efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum of 2 years in accounts receivable or credit analysis.

  • Strong understanding of accounts receivable and credit management principles.

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Office.

  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

  • Contract Duration: Initial contract with potential for permanent hire based on performance.
