LHH Recruitment Solutions’ (pka Parker+Lynch) is working with a banking institution near North Vernon, IN looking for an Assistant Controller. This role is open for succession planning to the Controller next year due to set retirement. This role will be over an established team and will have further future opportunity for growth. This will report to the Controller up until retirement, then the CFO. Banking experience will be key here.

Responsibilities:

· Regulatory Reporting

· Budgeting & Forecasting

· Internal Controls Management

· Financial Statements

· GL Maintenance

· Cash Management

· Reconciliations

· Journal Entries

· Staff Supervision

· Ensure Separation of Duties

· Develop/Maintain Departmental Relationships

· Process Improvement

Qualifications:

· 5+ years’ experience required, ideally at a banking institution

· CPA preferred

· Foundation in public accounting preferred
