Credentialing Specialist – Onsite in Oak Brook, IL

LHH is seeking a Credentialing Specialist for our client based in Oak Brook! Talented Credentialing Specialists with 2 or more years of experience are encouraged to apply for immediate consideration! This position will start ASAP.

Job notes:

• Hiring method: Contract to Hire / Temp to Perm
• Location: 100% onsite
• Hours: Monday – Friday, 8A-5P
• Pay rate: $26-27/hour

Responsibilities include:

• Perform credentialing, re-credentialing and privileging for medical providers
• Acts as a liaison between medical staff, administration, and healthcare plans; meet with providers to collect and review credentialing data
• Process Medicaid, PECOS/Medicare and CAQH
• Maintain data for all providers and track the expiration of certifications and licenses, ensuring the providers update their certification and/or licensure timely
• Ensure that all credentialing files are completed accurately and timely for Board review/approval
• Process new applications for provider privileges
• Process credentialing and re-credentialing applications for all providers that will include reviewing resumes, conducting background checks, contacting licensing boards, reviewing license applications, obtaining educational information, and securing references
• Sets up and maintains provider information in an online credentialing database system

Qualified Credentialing Specialists will have 2 or more years of Credentialing experience, including Primary Source Verifications. Please apply today, we are hiring ASAP!
