Administrative Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will provide essential administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our office. This role involves a variety of tasks including managing schedules, handling correspondence, and assisting with various administrative duties. This is a Contract to Hire opportunity located in Oak Park, IL.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain office supplies inventory, order supplies as needed, and ensure the office environment is clean and organized.
  • Manage and coordinate calendars, schedule meetings, and arrange travel plans for executives and team members.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and mail. Draft and proofread documents and reports.
  • Maintain and update databases, records, and files with accurate information.
  • Assist with the preparation of presentations, reports, and other documents. Provide general administrative support to various departments as needed.
  • Greet visitors, answer inquiries, and provide excellent customer service to clients and guests.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications as an Administrative Assistant or Secretary will be a plus.
  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint, in particular).
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Job Details:
  • Contract to Hire
  • 100% onsite
  • Pay is $17-$20 an hour, depending on experience
