Contract Litigation Attorney
Location: Oakland, CA
Pay Rate: $70 to $85 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time, Contract, Hybrid (2-3 days Onsite)
LHH is working with a Civil Litigation firm, located in Oakland, CA, in seeking a skilled Contract Litigation Attorney. The successful candidate will have 3-5+ years of experience in civil litigation, demonstrating expertise in prepping pleadings/motions, discovery, document review, and preferably, deposition experience.
Responsibilities:
Legal Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
Pleadings and Motions: Prepare, draft, and file pleadings and motions in a timely and accurate manner.
Discovery: Manage the discovery process, including drafting and responding to discovery requests, and participate in discovery-related proceedings.
Document Review: Conduct comprehensive document review, ensuring accuracy and relevance to the case.
Depositions: Conduct and/or participate in depositions, utilizing strong oral communication and analytical skills.
Qualifications:
California Bar Admission: Must be an active member of the California State Bar.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in civil litigation.
