Position Overview:
Lead HR strategy and daily operations.
Ensure seamless delivery in performance management, employee relations, compensation, benefits, recruitment, and training.
Key member of senior Directors team, driving innovation and collaboration.
Report to the Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Responsibilities: HR Strategy & Development:
Design and implement HR policies, procedures, and systems.
Align HR strategies with organizational goals.
Mentor and empower managers.
Talent Acquisition & Management:
Develop and execute talent acquisition strategy.
Manage full recruitment life cycle.
Train hiring managers on best practices.
Performance & Engagement:
Develop performance management strategy.
Implement performance appraisal systems.
Coach and mentor staff.
Employee Relations & Culture:
Advise on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Trauma-informed Practices.
Enhance employee engagement and retention.
Resolve employee relations issues.
HR Compliance & Operations:
Ensure compliance with HR best practices and labor laws.
Oversee HR information systems (HRIS).
Partner with Finance on headcount planning and payroll.
Qualifications:
5+ years of progressive HR management experience.
2+ years in a non-profit environment.
Advanced knowledge of CA labor laws.
Proven track record in HR function building and scaling.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Must pass CORI LiveScan clearance.
Valid CA driver’s license and clean DMV record.
