LHH is working with a rapidly growing Non-Profit company located in San Francisco who is seeking a skilled Junior Accountant to join the team. As a company, they are committed to providing exceptional service to their clients while also contributing to positive change in the community. They are seeking a detail-oriented, self-motivated, and experienced Junior Accountant.

Responsibilities:

• Record financial transactions, maintain accurate ledgers, and reconcile accounts

• Process and verify invoices, issue payments, and collect payments from customers

• Assist with the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

• Help prepare budgets and forecasts, monitor spending, and analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings

• Assist with internal audits, reviewing financial records and reports to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

• Work closely with other departments within the organization, such as procurement, sales, or operations, to ensure accurate financial reporting and provide financial insights

• Stay informed about changes to accounting regulations and standards and ensure financial reporting is in compliance with these requirements

• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field is a plus

• 1+ years of experience in accounting or finance

• Knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles

• Strong proficiency in Excel

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Pay

• $25-$28 based on experience
