Senior Accountant

Oakland, CA (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the fixed assets ledger, ensuring accurate and timely recording of acquisitions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation.

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations of fixed assets accounts.

• Prepare and review journal entries related to fixed assets.

• Conduct periodic physical inventories of fixed assets and reconcile with accounting records.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies related to fixed assets.

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, focusing on fixed assets.

• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

• Analyze financial data related to fixed assets and provide insights to management for decision-making.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar role, with a strong focus on fixed assets.

• In-depth understanding of accounting principles and fixed assets accounting.

• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
