Accounting & HR Manager

$80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per Year


Responsibilities of this Sr Accountant include:



  • Manage full-cycle accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank deposits.


  • Prepare and present monthly financial reports and analyses.


  • Track and manage fundraising and grant revenue using QuickBooks.


  • Oversee company credit card issuance, reconciliation, and payments.


  • Formulate long-term financial planning strategies.


  • Collaborate with the CEO to create annual budgets and cost allocation plans.


  • Assist departments in preparing annual budgets aligned with organizational goals.


  • Oversee internal and external financial audits and administrative controls.


  • Prepare and finalize annual tax documents with auditors.


  • Manage contracts, insurance requirements, and permit applications.


  • Handle quarterly sales tax and use reporting, filing, and payment.


  • Review financials with department heads as needed.


  • Manage timekeeping, prepare, and process bi-monthly payroll for 30 employees.


Minimum Qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or Business Administration.


  • 3+ years of experience in accounting.


  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.


  • Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.


  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities.


  • Familiarity with MS Office Suite including Excel.


  • Experienced with QuickBooks and any exposure with Gusto or Bill.com is preferred.
