LHH is seeking an Accounting Director for a dynamic company in Oklahoma City, OK. This role ensures that all financial reporting activities provide accurate, compliant, and timely information to stakeholders. This is a hybrid working environment.

Responsibilities:

· Maintain an in-depth understanding of GAAP, FASB Pronouncements, IFRS, and federal, state, IRS, and local tax regulations, ensuring compliance across all financial reporting functions.

· Interpret US GAAP, providing technical accounting solutions for transactional events and their impact on financial statements.

· Ensure compliance with GAAP in all financial reporting across the company’s operations.

· Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including debt compliance, and internal and external financial statements.

· Supervise the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, ensuring that system feeds from billing, accounts payable, and payroll are properly integrated from both an accounting and internal control perspective, including quarterly account certification to the CFO.

· Lead the year-end audit process for all business units in collaboration with external auditors to achieve an unqualified audit opinion.

· Analyze financial performance to support management in optimizing operations and minimizing monthly budget variances.

· Provide strategic financial guidance to leaders and external consultants on the structure of business endeavors.

· Develop and implement methods to monitor workflow, ensuring the timely, accurate, and professional delivery of services to internal and external customers.

· Manage departmental staff, including hiring, performance evaluations, competency assessments, and handling disciplinary or counseling matters as needed.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

· Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

· Minimum 7 years of accounting experience

· In-depth knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and both federal and state tax regulations

· Proven supervisory experience

· Excellent communication skills in English (both verbal and written)
