LHH is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join an established and dynamic accounting firm. This individual will lead audit, accounting, and consulting engagements for a diverse range of clients, including healthcare organizations, nonprofits, financial institutions, and government agencies. The role offers the opportunity to manage client relationships, develop team members, and contribute to business development efforts. The anticipated salary for this role is between $100,000-$125,000.
Responsibilities:
· Develop and maintain lasting partnerships with client executives and boards.
· Manage multiple audit engagements from planning through completion, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
· Collaborate with firm leadership to understand client needs and provide regular updates on project progress.
· Supervise and mentor audit team members, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
· Review audit documentation and financial statements, performing in-field reviews when appropriate.
· Support the professional development of senior staff, helping them grow into future leadership roles.
· Identify opportunities to expand services with existing clients and contribute to strategic growth efforts.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
· CPA license (active and in good standing) required.
· Minimum of four years of experience in public accounting, including audit experience.
· Strong knowledge of GAAP, FASB, and GASB standards.
· Proven ability to manage teams and projects effectively.
· Willingness to travel.
