Government Audit Staff

LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring a Government Audit Staff for our client in Oklahoma City, OK. This full-time direct hire position is on-site with some remote flexibility offered over time.

The Government Audit Staff role will assist with implementing audit processes, analyzing financial data and statements, and ensuring the audits are completed timely. The ideal candidate will would have some audit experience and an understanding of public and industry accounting.

Responsibilities:

· Assist with implementing audit processes and policies

· Analyze financial data, reports, and statements

· Coordinate with the internal and external audit processes

· Review the completed audit files and processes

· Ensure the audits are completed in a timely manner

· Some travel required

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree

· CPA preferred

· Audit experience in public accounting, or government fund accounting, cities and towns preferred

· Knowledge of Single Audit 2 CFR 200 regulations

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

· Demonstrated ability to multi-task

· Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills

The anticipated salary for this position is between $60,000 and $80,000 based upon a written compensation plan.
