LHH is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Medical Office Administrator to join our team in Olympia, WA. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to patients, colleagues, and referral sources by coordinating and managing front-office activities. This position is vital in ensuring smooth clinic operations, including appointment scheduling, insurance validation, payment processing, billing inquiries, and patient interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule appointments and manage the clinic calendar.
Validate insurance and obtain necessary payment authorizations.
Input claims and process payments.
Perform account collections and billing research.
Handle patient check-in/check-out and DME insurance verification.
Answer and respond to patient and referral inquiries via telephone.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED.
2 years of administrative experience in an office setting.
Valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets Hanger’s Motor Vehicle Safety standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
1 year of experience with electronic health/medical record systems, preferably NextGen and/or OnBase.
