Job Title: Accounting/Purchasing Specialist

Location: Ontario, CA

Salary: Up to $32 per hour

Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting/Purchasing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and overseeing the purchasing process to ensure efficient and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounting Duties:

    • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.

    • Reconcile bank statements and financial records.

    • Prepare and maintain financial reports and statements.

    • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.

    • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

  • Purchasing Duties:

    • Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships.

    • Create and process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

    • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with departments to meet procurement needs.

    • Analyze purchasing data and generate reports to identify cost-saving opportunities.

    • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting and purchasing roles.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
