Job Title: Tax Manager

Location: Ontario, CA

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team.

The Tax Manager will ensure state and federal tax documents are prepared and filed in a timely manner. This role involves developing solutions for potential tax issues, staying updated on new tax legislation, and informing staff of legislative changes.

The Tax Manager will also advise on sales and use tax reporting and tax provisions for a privately held corporation. This position offers a great level of reporting to the executives within the company and is 100% onsite.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Accurately prepare and file sales and use, motor fuels, and property tax returns in a timely manner.

  • Manage outside tax processors.

  • Oversee the income tax planning process with an outside tax firm.

  • Develop tax strategies to assist the company with tax mitigation and compliance.

  • Manage tax audits.

  • Monitor and report developments in tax legislation.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, taxation, finance, business, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as an indirect tax manager, public accountant, or in a similar role.

  • Must have experience with tax provisions and sales and use tax reporting.

  • Ability to work with different taxation software.

  • Extensive knowledge of tax legislation.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Strong analytical and communication skills.

  • Sound problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient with tax research software.

  • No direct reports.



Pay Details: $150,000.00 to $185,000.00 per year
