Position Title: Bilingual Human Resources Generalist
Location: Orangeburg, NY (100% On-Site)
Salary: Up to $85,000 annually
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Flexibility required to occasionally work 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM to support off-shift associates.
Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and bilingual (English/Spanish) Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Orangeburg, NY. This role is ideal for a proactive HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about supporting employees across all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer employee benefits and support open enrollment processes
Manage staffing and onboarding processes, including new hire orientation
Address and resolve employee grievances and concerns in a timely and professional manner
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and union employment regulations
Maintain accurate HR metrics and reporting
Support initiatives to improve employee engagement and satisfaction
Translate HR documents and communications between English and Spanish
Provide HR support to off-shift associates as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience
Strong fluency in both English and Spanish (speaking, reading, writing, and translating)
In-depth knowledge of federal and state employment laws
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (formulas, charts, pivot tables)
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
