LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently hiring for an Insurance Defense and Personal Injury Paralegal to join a respected law firm in Orlando, FL. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled paralegal with experience in insurance defense and personal injury law to support a dynamic legal team in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive support to attorneys handling insurance defense and personal injury cases.
Draft, format, and proofread legal documents such as motions, pleadings, and briefs.
Conduct legal research and gather necessary information for case development.
Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date.
Coordinate court dates, meetings, depositions, and other critical legal events.
Prepare and electronically file legal documents in both federal and district courts.
Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, creating trial binders, and coordinating witness and expert depositions.
Facilitate settlement processes, including drafting settlement releases, notices of settlement, and final dismissal orders.
Manage attorney calendars, schedule appointments, site visits, and conferences as needed.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a paralegal in insurance defense and personal injury law.
Strong knowledge of legal procedures, documentation, and court filings.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
