LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a leading law firm in Orlando to find a talented and motivated Litigation Paralegal. This position is initially temporary, with the potential to transition into a permanent role.

As a Litigation Paralegal, you will be an essential part of the litigation team, providing critical support to attorneys. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in litigation and potentially secure a permanent position within the firm.

Responsibilities:

  • Case Preparation: Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions by organizing and managing case files.

  • Legal Research: Conduct thorough legal research and compile relevant information to support case strategies.

  • Document Management: Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.

  • Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule meetings, depositions, and court appearances.

  • Communication: Professionally interact with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.

  • Administrative Support: Maintain and update case management systems and databases, manage calendars, handle correspondence, and process mail.

  • Team Support: Provide general support to the litigation team as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; an associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.

  • Experience: Previous experience as a litigation paralegal or in a similar role is highly desirable.

  • Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), ability to work independently and as part of a team, strong multitasking abilities, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Knowledge: Familiarity with legal terminology and litigation procedures is a plus.
