We are seeking a skilled and experienced Machinist with expertise in Wire EDM to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining wire EDM machines to produce precise parts for various manufacturing needs. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, the ability to read and interpret blueprints, and the ability to troubleshoot machine issues efficiently. You will work closely with our engineering team to ensure parts are manufactured to specification, ensuring high-quality production standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate Wire EDM machines to cut and shape materials to precise specifications.

  • Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machine setup and part specifications.

  • Set up and calibrate machines to ensure accurate part production.

  • Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of EDM machines to ensure optimal operation.

  • Monitor machine operations, troubleshoot, and make adjustments as needed to ensure quality standards are met.

  • Inspect finished parts for accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications.

  • Work with the engineering team to implement process improvements and optimize production workflows.

  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all safety protocols and industry standards.

  • Keep detailed records of machine operations, maintenance, and part production.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Machinist, with a strong background in Wire EDM operation.

  • Proficiency in interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files.

  • Knowledge of machining tools and equipment.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with tight tolerances.

  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve machine issues effectively.

  • Familiarity with quality control processes and the ability to inspect parts for defects.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in machining is a plus.

  • Previous experience with other CNC machinery is a plus.
