LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a company in the Kansas City area that has expressed an upcoming need to directly hire a Benefits Manager to join its team. This is full time, onsite position that offers a flexible work schedule, competitive salary, solid benefits package and more!

This person will be responsible for the company's Total Rewards programs as a member of the Human Resources department.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing and overseeing the administration of all benefits (including health, dental, vision, life, AD&D, disability, 401(k), FSA, HSA, FMLA, PTO, COBRA, tuition reimbursement); working with external brokers/carriers and leading benefits open enrollment
  • Analyzing and administering all total rewards programs (including health & wellness, retirement, welfare, employee recognition and compensation)
  • Creating a total rewards strategy that ensures company is highly competitive to improve talent acquisition and employee retention
  • Negotiating with benefits brokers and outside vendors, tracking participation, maintaining legal compliance, making recommendations to Executive Leadership, and monitoring program success
  • Serving as the main resource to new hires and employees regarding benefits, wellness, and compensation

Qualifications needed:

  • At least 7 years of professional experience in benefits administration with at least 3 years of responsibility for total rewards programs
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance or related field is required
  • Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) and/ore Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) are a huge plus
  • Previous people management experience is preferred
