LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced and strategic Benefits Manager to lead the employee benefits programs for our client in Kansas City, MO. The Benefits Manager will play a key role in implementing and managing employee benefits offerings, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing excellent communication throughout the process.

Salary Range: This posting is a representative sample of the types of roles we typically place with our clients. Depending on the specific client, location, and role, the salary range is estimated to be $85,000 to $100,000 and benefits may include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan. Our program provides employees the flexibility to choose the type of coverage that meets their individual needs. Available paid leave may include Paid Sick Leave, where required by law; any other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law; and Holiday pay upon meeting eligibility criteria.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage employee benefits programs, including health, retirement, wellness initiatives and other perks

  • Analyze and evaluate existing benefits plans to ensure they are competitive and cost-effective

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries and provide timely and accurate feedback

  • Lead benefits team, offering guidance and support to ensure efficient operations and exceptional service

  • Oversee the annual open enrollment process and assist employees with benefits and enrollment changes

  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve benefits offerings

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience in benefits management or administration

  • In-depth knowledge of benefits regulations and compliance

  • Excellent communication, analytical and interpersonal skills

  • Strong leadership and team management skills
