Job Summary: LHH is partnering with an organization in Overland Park, KS, and assisting them search for a new Global Compensation Director. The Global Compensation Director will be responsible for developing and implementing compensation strategies across the organization, with a focus on global benchmarking, job profiles, and equity programs. This role requires extensive experience in creating and managing Short-Term Incentive (STI) and Long-Term Incentive (LTI) programs, as well as a deep understanding of compensation tools like Payfactors and their interaction with Workday.
This organization is located in Overland Park, and they work a hybrid schedule both on-site and remotely each week. For candidates not in the Overland Park area, a relocation would be required, and a package offered. Other potential office locations include Duluth, GA, downtown Atlanta, and Irving, TX.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement global compensation strategies, including STI and LTI programs.
Manage all aspects of compensation, including global benchmarking and job profiles.
Oversee and own all equity programs and reporting.
Prepare and deliver executive presentations on compensation strategies and outcomes.
Conduct compensation analytics and reporting to support decision-making.
Oversee the annual compensation cycle and ensure alignment with the company's compensation philosophy.
Partner with benefits, wellness, and community teams as part of the total rewards team.
Provide guidance on benchmarking approaches and methodologies.
Build and implement new compensation programs, rather than relying on pre-existing ones.
Ensure compliance with global compensation regulations and best practices.
Manage a team of 4 on the Compensation team.
Qualifications:
Extensive experience in global compensation, including the US, Europe, and Asia.
Proven track record in creating and implementing STI programs beyond standard annual bonus programs.
Strong background in total rewards, with benefits experience as a secondary focus – preferred.
Proficiency in using compensation tools like Payfactors and Workday – required.
Staff management experience – required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Pay Details: $150,000.00 to $200,000.00 per year
