LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a motivated and organized HR Generalist to join our client in the Kansas City Metro. As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for supporting the full spectrum of human resources functions. This includes employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, compliance, benefits administration, and HR policy implementation. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and passionate about creating a positive employee experience.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and HR-related matters.

• Manage full-cycle recruitment: job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.

• Maintain and update employee records in HRIS systems (e.g., Dayforce, Workday, Paylocity).

• Support employee relations including investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.

• Assist with benefits administration, open enrollment, and employee communications.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

• Prepare and update HR documents such as offer letters, contracts, and policy manuals.

• Track and report on HR metrics such as turnover, headcount, and engagement.

• Coordinate training and development initiatives and support performance management cycles.

• Collaborate with payroll to ensure accurate processing of employee data (e.g., PTO, leave, terminations).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

• Proven experience as an HR Generalist with at least 2 years of experience including employee relations, training and development, staffing, compensation, onboarding and benefits.

• Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and techniques.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including group presentations and facilitation.

• Proficiency in HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
