LHH is partnering with a client in the Overland Park, KS area to fill their HR Generalist role.
Our ideal candidate would be someone with 2-3 years of HR experience, who is looking for more growth and has Employee Relations experience.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
- Conduct investigations into employee complaints and grievances.
- Provide guidance and support to managers on employee relations issues.
- Develop and implement employee relations programs and initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Facilitate conflict resolution and mediation sessions.
- Prepare and maintain documentation related to employee relations cases.
- Conduct training sessions on employee relations topics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in employee relations or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
