Open Enrollment & Benefits Coordinator | Kansas City, MO

LHH is working with a client in the Kansas City, MO area, who is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Open Enrollment & Benefits Coordinator to support the HR team during the annual benefits open enrollment period. This contract role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, benefits administration experience, and a passion for helping employees navigate their options.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage the open enrollment process for employee benefits.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for benefits-related inquiries.
  • Assist employees with benefit selections, changes, and troubleshooting issues.
  • Collaborate with HR, payroll, and benefits vendors to ensure accurate data and timely processing.
  • Conduct virtual information sessions and provide educational materials to employees.
  • Audit benefits data for accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulations.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in benefits administration, preferably during open enrollment periods.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems and benefits platforms.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of federal and state benefits regulations is a plus.

  • Compensation: $25-35ph.
  • Job Type: Contract
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, fully onsite!

Pay Details: $25.00 to $35.00 per hour
