Senior Benefits Analyst

$80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per Year
- Oversee and administer the company’s benefits programs for the U.S. and Canada, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, welfare, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
- Lead the annual open enrollment process, including planning, communication, and system configuration.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on benefits-related matters, providing guidance to HR, management, and employees.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, provincial, and local regulations related to benefits administration, including COBRA, FMLA, ACA, and Canadian equivalents.
- Manage relationships with benefits vendors and brokers, ensuring optimal service delivery and cost-effectiveness.
- Analyze benefits programs and make recommendations for improvements or changes based on market trends and employee needs.
- Conduct regular audits of benefits data and processes to maintain accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with payroll and HRIS teams to ensure seamless integration and administration of benefits programs.
- Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to ensure the company’s benefits offerings remain competitive and aligned with organizational goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in benefits administration, with a focus on North American (U.S. and Canada) benefits programs for a multilocation workforce.
- Solid understanding of benefits regulations, including ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, IRC, ACA, HIPAA, DOL, and ADAA.
- Proven experience managing open enrollment processes and benefits vendors.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and benefits administration software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Certification in Benefits (CBP, CEBS, or similar).
- Experience working in a global or multinational organization.
- Knowledge of wellness program development and implementation.
