LHH Recruitment Solutions is representing a global organization located in the Kansas City area seeking to hire a skilled Senior Benefits Analyst to join its team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company’s North American benefits program and will play a key role in the annual open enrollment process. This is a full-time, onsite position with some flexibility to work from home as needed.   • Oversee and administer the company’s benefits programs for the U.S. and Canada, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, welfare, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
  • Lead the annual open enrollment process, including planning, communication, and system configuration.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on benefits-related matters, providing guidance to HR, management, and employees.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, provincial, and local regulations related to benefits administration, including COBRA, FMLA, ACA, and Canadian equivalents.
  • Manage relationships with benefits vendors and brokers, ensuring optimal service delivery and cost-effectiveness.
  • Analyze benefits programs and make recommendations for improvements or changes based on market trends and employee needs.
  • Conduct regular audits of benefits data and processes to maintain accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with payroll and HRIS teams to ensure seamless integration and administration of benefits programs.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to ensure the company’s benefits offerings remain competitive and aligned with organizational goals.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in benefits administration, with a focus on North American (U.S. and Canada) benefits programs for a multilocation workforce.
  • Solid understanding of benefits regulations, including ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, IRC, ACA, HIPAA, DOL, and ADAA.
  • Proven experience managing open enrollment processes and benefits vendors.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and benefits administration software.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in Benefits (CBP, CEBS, or similar).
  • Experience working in a global or multinational organization.
  • Knowledge of wellness program development and implementation.
