Position: Sr. HR Business Partner

LHH Recruitment Solutions is collaborating with an esteemed organization in Overland Park, KS, to find a dedicated Sr. HR Business Partner. This role is pivotal in providing strategic HR support to specific business units, acting as a consultant to both frontline and senior business leaders. As a strategic talent leader, you will own the HR strategy for these business units, addressing key talent opportunities and challenges at a strategic level to create value for the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Partnership: Build and maintain relationships with business leaders, offering thought leadership on organizational and people-related strategies and execution.

  • Business Alignment: Understand the business strategy and identify opportunities to align HR initiatives with business goals. Help leaders prioritize and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes.

  • Talent Management: Lead talent management and development plans, focusing on enhancing leadership quality, building workforce skills, and ensuring succession planning.

  • Performance Improvement: Diagnose gaps between current and desired performance, deploying actions such as organization redesign, process changes, coaching, and training to resolve them.

  • Employee Development: Assist in creating development programs for high-potential employees.

  • Workforce Planning: Analyze workforce trends to model and forecast future labor requirements, supporting senior leaders in workforce planning and succession management.

  • Performance Review: Review key business performance targets and their talent implications with business leaders.

  • Benchmarking: Review and benchmark internal and external environments to identify new HR opportunities and improve policies and initiatives.

  • Best Practices: Identify and drive the sharing of best practices across functions to facilitate continuous improvement.

  • HR Liaison: Act as a liaison between the business and HR functions to ensure HR services align with internal client needs.

  • Performance Management: Align performance management and reward strategies to reinforce dedication and innovation across business units.

  • Leadership Coaching: Coach senior leaders to improve leadership abilities, team relationships, and interpersonal communications, delivering effective performance feedback.

  • Continuous Development: Continuously develop HR strategic, partnership, and consultative skills, mentoring and developing others on the HRBP team.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 10+ years of HR experience in a strategic position partnering with key executives.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in HR management, business administration, or a related field.

  • Influence: Proven track record of influencing senior leaders.

  • Strategic Support: Ability to identify new ways for HR to support business strategy and develop actionable steps.

  • Data Analysis: Ability to analyze large quantities of data, recognize trends, and develop recommendations based on data analysis.

  • Partnership Skills: Strong partnership skills and the ability to influence business unit or functional leaders.

  • Coaching and Problem Solving: Demonstrated achievements in coaching, influencing, and problem-solving with various leadership levels.

  • Business Acumen: High degree of business acumen.

  • Team Player: Effective team player and networker.

  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR management systems.
