We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to assist an accounting team located in Palatine, IL. This is a temp to hire opportunity that will start immediately. The ideal candidate will have the ability to collaborate with others while having a high level of organizational skills. To qualify, you must have strong attention to detail and 2+ years of high-volume accounts payable experience.

Duties

• Review all invoices for accuracy and approval before payment

• Process and monitor payments

• Match invoices to checks

• Prepare vendors checks for mailing

• Maintain updated vendor information

Qualifications

• 2+ years of AP experience

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Knowledge of ERP systems

• Detail oriented and high level of organizational skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
