Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general ledger accounting functions including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Conduct month-end and year-end close processes.
• Maintain and reconcile fixed asset schedules.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Prepare and file state and local tax returns.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Assist in the preparation for audits and work closely with auditors to provide necessary documentation.
• Support the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed.
• Participate in special projects and process improvements as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
• Experience with accounting software; knowledge of ERP systems is a plus.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
