LHH is seeking a Litigation Paralegal located in the Palm Coast, FL area. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized multi-tasker with excellent written and verbal communication skills. This is a high volume desk in a relaxed atmosphere. If you are a skilled and efficient litigation paralegal who exhibits high attention to detail and who remains calm under pressure, this is the role for you!
Key Responsibilities:
Legal Research & Writing: Conduct legal research and draft memos, briefs, pleadings, and correspondence under the supervision of attorneys.
Document Management: Organize, maintain, and update case files and legal documents, ensuring compliance with confidentiality and ethical standards.
Case Preparation: Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, trials, and client meetings, including scheduling, document compilation, and logistics coordination.
Client Interaction: Serve as a liaison between clients, attorneys, and external parties, providing updates and gathering necessary documentation.
Administrative Support: Manage calendars, coordinate meetings, and perform other administrative tasks to support the legal team with the assistance of a Legal Assistant.
Qualifications:
Experience: 3+ years of paralegal experience in a law firm or legal department. Experience in litigation and family law is a plus.
Skills:
Strong legal research and writing skills.
Proficient in legal research databases and case management software.
Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Pay Details: $55,000.00 to $60,000.00 per year
