Our client is seeking a Warehouse/ Inventory Specialist.
This is a Hybrid role 3 days in office 2 days home- will need to travel to Edison warehouse on occasion. Salary up to 72K with a team bonus every year.

Purpose of the Role
Our client, a global manufacturer based in Morris County, is seeking a Warehouse/Inventory Specialist to join their Supply Chain team at the regional headquarters. This team manages procurement, transportation, storage, and distribution across North America. The Inventory & Warehousing Specialist plays a crucial role in receiving, storing, and ensuring the timely shipment of products within North American warehouses. This role serves as the primary daily contact for 3rd party warehouse partners and supports the Supply Chain Manager in adhering to established Standard Operating Procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Transactions & Reconciliation: Use 3rd party warehouse receipts and shipment reports to accurately post transactions in the ERP system. Resolve discrepancies with warehouse teams.
Order Release: Release customer delivery orders and coordinate with logistics partners to ensure customer-specific requirements (e.g., batch selection, special documents) are met.
Issue Resolution: Notify Supply Chain and Customer Service teams promptly about inventory issues that might delay on-time delivery.
Inbound Coordination: Work with inbound logistics to prioritize critical container flows.
Documentation: Ensure warehouses have access to all necessary shipping documentation, including packing lists and certificates (COA, etc.).
Monthly Reconciliation: Prepare monthly inventory reconciliation for each warehouse location to ensure consistency between ERP and WMS data.
Non-Conforming Inventory: Ensure timely handling and reporting of non-conforming inventory items (expired, damaged, obsolete, etc.).
Technical Skills
Proficiency with SAP (or similar ERP systems) specifically for inventory and warehouse transactions.
Strong skills in Microsoft Office tools, including Teams, Outlook, and Excel.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Ability to solve problems and collaborate across multiple departments.
Fluent in English; bilingual ability in Spanish is an asset.
Commitment to continuous professional development, with willingness to pursue ASCM (formerly APICS) certification or equivalent.
Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
