We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Claims Adjustor to manage the full claims process, from intake to resolution (auto claims). This role involves reviewing, approving, and processing claims while maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with internal controls. You will interact with claimants, distributors, surveyors, and carriers, utilizing strong judgment to facilitate efficient claim settlements.
Key Responsibilities
Claims Processing: Receive, review, and approve claims submitted by claimants and distributors, exercising discretion within authorized settlement authority.
Communication & Coordination: Conduct direct telephonic coordination with claimants and distributors, ensuring clear and professional interactions.
Third-Party Inspections: Arrange inspections with third-party surveyors as necessary to assess claims.
Recovery & Negotiation: Review and submit claims to carriers and third parties for recovery, including negotiations and collection efforts.
Internal Controls & Compliance: Adhere to company policies and procedures while maintaining accurate claim files.
Team Collaboration: Support other team members and contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment.
Qualifications & Skills
Education: College degree preferred.
Industry Experience: Prior experience in the auto industry preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
