· Work Schedule: Potential 9/80 schedule (Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Friday: 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM) or 5 days a week (8 hours per day)
· Dress Code: Business casual; jeans with a nice blouse. FRC required on plant site. Must own a pair of FRC/chemical plant approved boots (purchase reimbursed)
Position Overview:
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a dedicated and versatile Plant/Administrative Coordinator to support our client, a leading chemical manufacturer, in Pasadena, Texas. This role involves a blend of administrative support and on-site plant coordination, making it ideal for candidates who are flexible and ready to tackle a variety of tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to all employees within the plant.
Administrative Support: Handle confidential information, organize and maintain files, and manage phone inquiries.
Clerical Duties: Perform tasks such as maintaining files, photocopying, and collating as needed.
Travel and Logistics: Arrange travel, accommodation, and itineraries.
Event Coordination: Plan and organize meetings, luncheons, and client dinners.
Schedule Management: Manage executive schedules and act as a liaison for the executive team.
Reporting and Data Management: Prepare reports and presentations, maintain records and correspondence.
Special Projects: Assist with company events, team-building activities, and special projects.
Office Supplies and Mail: Order and distribute supplies, handle mail sorting.
SAP Functions: Enter maintenance orders and support SAP-related tasks.
Plant Site Visits: Perform site visits once or twice a month; FRC will be provided (candidates need to purchase their own boots; reimbursement available).
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent (degree preferred).
3+ years of administrative and clerical experience.
Strong proficiency in Excel.
Advanced computer skills, including MS Office and SAP.
Excellent communication skills.
Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
5 years of experience supporting mid- to senior-level administration or related departments.
IAAP Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) or similar certification.
Physical Capacity Requirements:
Follow safety requirements and wear required PPE on-site.
Lift up to 10 pounds.
Walk safely in industrial areas.
Sit or stand for extended periods.
Work at a computer for significant periods.
