LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a company based in Philadelphia, PA We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Cash Applications Specialist to join a growing professional services firm in Center City. This is a fully onsite role with the potential to convert to a permanent position based on performance.


Cash Applications Specialist

Location: Center City, Philadelphia (Fully Onsite)

Pay Rate: $21–$23/hour
Type: Temporary to Permanent
Industry: Professional Services

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply incoming payments to customer accounts accurately and timely
• Reconcile daily cash receipts and resolve unapplied cash issues
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies
• Communicate with internal departments and clients regarding payment issues
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions
• Assist with month-end close and reporting as needed

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of experience in cash applications, accounts receivable, or general accounting
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software a plus
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
