LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a company based in Philadelphia, PA We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Cash Applications Specialist to join a growing professional services firm in Center City. This is a fully onsite role with the potential to convert to a permanent position based on performance.
Cash Applications Specialist
Location:
Center City, Philadelphia (Fully Onsite)
Pay Rate: $21–$23/hour
Type: Temporary to Permanent
Industry: Professional Services
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply incoming payments to customer accounts accurately and timely
- Reconcile daily cash receipts and resolve unapplied cash issues
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies
- Communicate with internal departments and clients regarding payment issues
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions
- Assist with month-end close and reporting as needed
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of experience in cash applications, accounts receivable, or general accounting
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software a plus
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
