We're looking for someone with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, at least 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the healthcare industry, and strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations. Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools is a must, along with excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
The Accounting Manager will oversee the financial operations across various healthcare units, including hospitals, clinics, and medical practices. The ideal candidate will ensure the accuracy and efficiency of the financial processes, contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily financial activities, including cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and credit control.
- Develop and maintain financial accounting systems.
- Prepare and present financial information to non-financial managers.
- Manage the preparation of annual budgets and monitor revenues and expenditures.
- Ensure compliance with statutory obligations regarding financial reporting, taxation, and corporate governance.
- Conduct financial forecasting and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Professional accounting qualification such as CPA or CMA is highly desirable.
- Minimum of six years of experience in managing financial and accounting practices, preferably in the healthcare industry.
- Proficiency in budget planning, financial forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy.
- Proficient with accounting software and MS Office applications.
