LHH is working with a client in Philadelphia, Pa that is in need of a Textile designer/pattern maker. you will support production through creation of pattern markers, labels, and related design items. Skills needed:

  • Strong understanding of pattern making, grading and ability to problem solve around print limitations.

  • Execute specific design development projects as assigned by the designer.

  • Make markers via pattern making software and print for daily production.

    • Understand, create and update the Technical Data Packages with fit comments.

    • Process orders and understand the design specifications and details.

    • Make sample design prototypes as required.

    • Improve marking making process – identifying efficiencies in both time required and fabric usage.

    • Understand and contribute to technical specification documentation.

    • Manage and prioritize multiple projects with strict deadlines.

    Qualifications


    • Bachelor’s degree in a design-related field and two - three years of relevant professional textile fabrication or design experience; or equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.

    • Experience with applied use of pattern making software Accumark Gerber.

Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year
