Accounts Payable Clerk

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with real estate company near Scottsdale in Central Phoenix. This organization is in search of an AP clerk to join their team. To be considered for this role, you MUST have recent AP experience. The schedule is Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, fully in office for the first several months. The hourly rate is between $23/hr-$26/hr.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Invoice Processing: Accurately process and verify invoices, ensuring they are matched with purchase orders and receipts.
  • Vendor Management: Handle vendor setup, including collecting and verifying necessary documentation.
  • Payment Processing: Prepare and execute payments to vendors, ensuring timely and accurate disbursements.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain detailed and accurate records of all accounts payable transactions.
  • Reconciliation: Assist in monthly reconciliation of accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Communication: Liaise with vendors and internal departments to address and resolve issues promptly.

Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree is preferred
  • Must have at least 1+ year experience in accounts payable, preferably within a real estate or property management environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with setting up and managing vendor accounts.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. Previous experience using Yardi is a plus!
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
