Accounts Payable Manager | Phoenix, AZ | $75,000–$95,000
LHH is seeking to hire an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join our clients growing team in Phoenix, AZ! This is an excellent opportunity for a driven AP professional with strong leadership skills and solid SAP experience to take ownership of a dynamic, high-volume department.
Position Overview:
The Accounts Payable Manager will be responsible for overseeing the full accounts payable cycle, managing a team, ensuring accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices, account reconciliations, tax reporting, and expense reporting. This role will also play a key part in month-end and year-end close processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Payable department
Oversee the accurate and timely processing of all supplier invoices, payments, and credit memos
Ensure 3-way matching and reconciliation processes are followed in accordance with company policy
Oversee and review employee expense reports, ensuring compliance and timely reimbursement
Maintain strong vendor relationships and resolve discrepancies or disputes
Prepare AP-related reports for month-end and year-end closing, including tax reporting
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of AP specialists, managing performance and workload distribution
Continuously evaluate and improve AP processes and internal controls
Partner with other accounting, procurement, and operational teams for cross-department collaboration
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
6+ years of progressive Accounts Payable experience
3–5 years of AP management or supervisory experience
Strong SAP ERP experience is required
Solid knowledge of general accounting principles and tax reporting regulations
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and expense reporting systems (Concur preferred)
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $95,000.00 per year
