LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a Financial Services Company in Phoenix, AZ that is looking to add a Mortgage Loan Closer to the team. This is a full-time on-site position Monday through Friday Contract to Hire. Pay rate: $20-$30/hr depending on prior experience.
Summary: As a Mortgage Loan Closer, this position will be customer-focused and excel at staying organized while managing multiple deadlines, take pride in producing quality work, and are excited to see efforts make a significant impact within our startup team.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare and Coordinate Loan Documents: Handle all aspects of loan document preparation for closing, ensuring quality control prior to funding.
- Track Closing Disclosure Receipt: Manage and track borrowers' receipt of the Closing Disclosure in accordance with TRID regulations.
- Collaborate on Final Loan Figures: Work closely with closing agents to finalize loan figures for the Closing Disclosure.
- Vendor Communication: Maintain relationships and communication with document preparation vendors to meet compliance standards in at least 18 states.
- Provide Excellent Customer Service: Offer exceptional customer service and problem-solving support to all parties involved in the loan process before, during, and after closing.
- Execute Loan Documents: Execute loan documents on behalf of the company.
- Prepare Funding Packages: Prepare funding packages for warehouse lenders and set up wires for closing agents/title with the funding department.
- Perform Data Integrity Reviews: Conduct data integrity reviews prior to shipping documents to secondary marketing investors, ensuring purchase/delivery deadlines are met.
- Review Loan Conditions: Review pre-funding loan conditions and executed loan documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Direct Collateral Packages: Send collateral packages to applicable warehouse banks and/or investors.
- Archive Digital Files: Archive digital files for document storage.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a financial services role - Mortgage industry experience required
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines.
- Background Checks: Ability to successfully complete federal background/credit checks.
- Adaptability: Ability to work effectively in a continually changing, entrepreneurial team environment.
Pay Details: $20.00 to $30.00 per hour
