Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper with extensive Accounts Payable experience to join our client's team in Phoenix. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience, with a strong emphasis on AP processes. Property management experience is a significant plus. This role is fully onsite and offers a competitive salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and process full-cycle accounts payable, including reviewing invoices, obtaining approvals, and processing payments.
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks such as accounts receivable, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Reconcile and manage general ledger accounts, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date.
- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, for management review.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Communicate with vendors to resolve billing issues and discrepancies.
- Support the property management team with financial reporting and analysis as needed.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records for audits and internal reviews.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience with a strong focus on accounts payable, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Property management experience is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (pivot tables & VLOOKUP).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
