Job Title: Bookkeeper
Location: Phoenix, AZ (Onsite)
Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 DOE
Schedule: Mon - Fri - 8AM - 5PM

Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to oversee our company's financial records and transactions. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of recent experience in bookkeeping, with strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. This position will be onsite at our client's Tempe location.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data.
  • Process payroll and maintain payroll records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting regulations and standards.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline accounting processes.
  • Assist with audits and other financial projects as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of recent experience in bookkeeping.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


Pay Details: $50,000.00 to $60,000.00 per year
