LHH is currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Billing Specialist to join our clients finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounts receivable with AIA billing experience and construction industry experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit AIA G702/G703 billing documents in accordance with contract requirements

• Review contracts and change orders to ensure accurate billing

• Track project billing schedules and deadlines to ensure timely submissions

• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to resolve billing discrepancies

• Maintain accurate records of billings, payments, and retainage

• Assist with lien waivers, compliance documents, and other billing-related paperwork

• Support month-end closing and reporting processes

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in construction billing, with a focus on AIA documentation

• Strong understanding of construction contracts, progress billing, and retainage

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and construction accounting software (e.g., Sage, Procore, Viewpoint)

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines

• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

• Preferred:

• Experience with certified payroll and job costing

• Familiarity with lien laws and compliance documentation

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
