Construction Project Coordinator

LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a construction company in Central Phoenix. This organization is in search of a full time Project Coordinator to join their team. This job is fully onsite, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.

As a Project Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the project management team with the day-to-day operations and administration of construction projects. You will be responsible for assisting in project planning, document management, scheduling, and communication between project teams, contractors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of project schedules, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate and track project documentation, including contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and other construction-related documents.
  • Manage communication between clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Assist in procurement and ordering of materials and equipment for projects.
  • Help track project budgets and assist with cost reporting.
  • Attend project meetings and take meeting minutes, providing updates as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide administrative support to the project managers and other team members.
  • Work closely with the project team to ensure smooth and efficient project execution.

Qualifications:

  • MUST have prior experience in the construction industry.
  • Previous experience with Sage and Procore is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma required; Associate's degree or higher in Construction Management, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in a project coordination or administrative role within the construction industry.

Pay Details: $24.00 to $29.00 per hour
