Procurement & Supply Chain
LHH Recruitment is partnering with a construction company in North Phoenix. This organization is in search of a dispatcher to join their team. This job is fully in office, Monday-Friday 7am-4pm. The hourly rate ranges between $21/hr-$25/hr DOE.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and dispatch workers, trucks, and equipment to construction sites based on daily schedules and priorities.
- Communicate effectively with field teams, project managers, and other staff to ensure timely arrival and delivery of materials and resources.
- Track and monitor the status of equipment and personnel throughout the day, making adjustments as necessary.
- Ensure all logistical needs for ongoing projects are met, including ensuring the proper allocation of resources.
- Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, including schedules, deliveries, and work orders.
- Address and resolve any issues related to the dispatching process, such as delays or equipment malfunctions.
- Assist in tracking inventory and ordering supplies as needed for upcoming projects.
- Support the operations team with other administrative tasks related to project logistics and scheduling.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; further education or certifications in logistics or construction management is a plus.
- 2+ years experience in dispatching, logistics, or a similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with team members and external contacts.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions to resolve issues.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic dispatching software.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Pay Details: $21.00 to $25.00 per hour
