Front Desk Assistant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a non profit organization in North Phoenix. This company is looking to add a front desk assistant to their team. This role is Monday-Friday, fully in office, between 35-40 hours a week. The hourly rate is between $20/hr-$23/hr.


The Front Desk Administrative Assistant plays a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations. This position is responsible for greeting visitors, managing incoming communications, maintaining an organized and professional front office, and assisting with a variety of administrative tasks to support program and office staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist all visitors, clients, and volunteers in a courteous and professional manner

  • Answer and route incoming phone calls and respond to general inquiries via phone and email

  • Receive and distribute mail and deliveries

  • Maintain a clean and welcoming reception area

  • Schedule and confirm appointments, meetings, and conference room bookings

  • Assist with filing, data entry, scanning, and document management

  • Support event preparation and coordination

  • Order and maintain office supplies and inventory

  • Provide administrative support to various departments as needed

  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred

  • 1–2 years of experience in an administrative or front desk role, preferably in a nonprofit or service-oriented environment

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general office equipment

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • Positive attitude and commitment to the mission of the organization

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday

  • 35–40 hours per week

  • This is an in-office position (remote work not available)
