HR Benefits Specialist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a construction company near the Phoenix/Tempe border. This organization is in search of a benefits specialist to join their team on a full time basis. This job is Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, fully on site. The ideal candidate will be degreed, have at least 3 years of benefits and leave management experience. .

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and manage employee benefits programs, including leave of absence (LOA), FMLA, short-term and long-term disability, and other company-provided benefits.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding leave inquiries, benefits programs, and eligibility.

  • Process, track, and ensure compliance with all leave-related documentation and policies.

  • Collaborate with HR and Payroll to ensure accurate leave tracking and timely processing of benefits.

  • Maintain accurate employee records in Paylocity and other HR systems.

  • Assist in the open enrollment process and provide support in benefits education.

  • Conduct periodic audits of leave data to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Stay up to date with federal and state leave regulations, and ensure the company remains in compliance with all applicable laws.

  • Respond to employee questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree preferred

  • 3+ years of experience in HR benefits administration, with a focus on leave of absence (LOA) and employee benefits.

  • Hands-on experience with Paylocity or similar HRIS platforms

  • Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and other leave-related laws and regulations.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
