Job Title: HR/Payroll Specialist
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Pay Range: $21 - $26 per hour
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire
Experience Required: 2+ years
LHH has partnered with a reputable client in the Phoenix area to find an experienced HR/Payroll Specialist to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with a passion for human resources and payroll administration, looking to grow within a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process bi-weekly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Maintain employee records, update payroll information, and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist with HR functions including onboarding, benefits administration, and employee relations.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
- Collaborate with internal departments to support HR and payroll processes.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and HR policies.
- Support audits related to payroll and HR functions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR and payroll processing.
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems and regulations.
- Familiarity with HR practices, benefits administration, and employment laws.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
