Workers’ Compensation Coordinator
KHH is looking for an employee that thrives in a fast-paced role where you’re at the center of communication, coordination, and care for injured workers. This position has you connecting with patients, employers, insurers, and healthcare providers to make sure every step of the workers’ compensation process runs smoothly.
What You’ll Do
Be the go-to person when injured employees or their employers reach out for care.
Secure pre-authorizations and schedule visits, follow-ups, and therapy services.
Liaise with a variety of professionals—adjusters, attorneys, employers, and clinical teams—to ensure cases stay on track.
Keep everything organized: update patient records, handle emails and calls, and ensure all the right documents get where they need to go.
Adapt as needed and support your team on additional tasks that arise.
Requirements
Sharp communication and networking skills to keep conversations productive and professional.
Solid grasp of workers’ compensation rules and health insurance basics.
Experience juggling multiple tasks while keeping your cool under pressure.
Comfort working with computer systems and electronic health records (EHR)—Athena Centricity familiarity is a bonus.
A background in healthcare or medical office administration is helpful (minimum one year preferred).
Passion for delivering top-notch service to patients, their employers, and care partners.
Preferred but not required
A bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare admin, or a related field.
At least three years of experience specifically within the workers' compensation world.
Perks of the Job
Monday - Friday normal business hours.
