• Conducting activities related to the revenue cycle as needed
• Point of contact and oversee billing and collections
• Ensure consistent efficiency in charges being billed, ensure outstanding balances are collected
• Using Excel and working through aging reports
• Review reports for errors and provide problem resolution
• Stay up to date on changing regulations in billing
• Escalate any delinquent accounts and ensure timely payments
• Focused on billing insurance company for services completed

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Required - 3 or more recent years of experience in Accounts Receivable in a healthcare setting (Authorizations, Billing, Collections and Receivables, Insurance Billing)
• Knowledge of working with Medicaid and Medicare as well as Commercial Insurances
• Recent experience in working with ICD-10, HCPCS, EMR and EHR.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs
